San Juan River - Dinner in Style
We enjoyed some excellent meals on our trip. The unique Swinging Steak restaurant in Mexican Hat was the venue for a filling meal the evening before our first day on the river.
Zoltan "the Firemaster" displays his skills as he readies the coals for my rib eye steaks resting on the table behind him. Michael withheld any instructions, recognizing that he was observing a true craftsman at work. This was our camp kitchen at Juniper Camp on our fifth night on the river.
The mouth of Oljeto Wash was the spectacular setting for dinner on the last night of our river adventure. Zoltan and Mike relax while Michael tends the pot on the stove.
