The morning sun illuminates the bluffs upstream from Ledge Camp as Mike, Zoltan, and Michael prepare their craft for the paddle to Mexican Hat on Day Four of our San Juan River trip in September. Ledge Rapid, in the background, had claimed some equipment the previous day.
