Kathy and I spent an enjoyable Independence Day weekend at the Sethness' lake house at Lake LBJ. In addition to our hosts, Greg and Renee, we were joined by Bill and Rosemary Clark.
Three elegant women floated by.
It seemed as though a majority of our time was spent eating. We were joined for dinner on Saturday by friendly neighbor Dick.
Bill's colorful flag cake was almost too pretty to eat.

The next day, Kathy and I broke the sacred Paddlers' Code by actually mounting a waverunner. I have tasted speed -- and I enjoyed it!
